Account data — email address, display name, and profile picture provided during sign-up via Firebase Authentication.
Usage data — analysis requests, transaction history, and interaction with the service.
Instagram data — publicly available interaction data (likes, comments, story views) processed during analysis. We do not access private accounts or store Instagram credentials.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and access logs collected automatically for security and performance.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the hlms.app service.
To process your analysis requests and deliver results.
To manage your account, billing, and credit transactions.
To communicate with you about service updates, support, and security.
To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
To improve and optimize the service.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (Firebase) with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We retain analysis results in your account for as long as your account is active. Technical logs are retained for up to 90 days. We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

Service providers — third-party services that help us operate (e.g., hosting, payment processing, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements.
Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Safety — to protect the rights, safety, or property of hlms.app, our users, or others.

5. Cookies & Tracking

hlms.app uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Firebase Authentication stores session tokens locally in your browser to keep you signed in.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Deletion — request deletion of your personal data and account.
Portability — request your data in a portable format.
Objection — object to certain processing of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis results are kept for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

8. Children's Privacy

hlms.app is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us immediately and we will delete the information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or via email. Continued use of hlms.app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
